While we're still a little bit out from the next Stake campaign (HC Jessamy anyone?), today is the last day to back Hospice: Skin Deep.

We're nearly to $10k and over 400 backers.

We have an amazing collection of covers and this campaign connects with 5 others in a shared universe, but with standalone stories.

Speaking of connecting...we've just added a tier to get ALL 6 books in the connecting cover set through the Skin Deep campaign.

CGC Books are on their way back!

All the CGC grades are in and we got only 1 (!) 9.6 and the rest 9.8 and 9.9s! They are on their way to my office from CGC, so I should be able to finish off fulfillment this weekend!

Hospice: Skin Deep has launched
(Something for you art and horror lovers)

I think you guys just might LOVE this new campaign.

We have a bunch of Stake veterans returning to crush the art for this book and one new artist I know you're going to love!

What's the deal?

Skin Deep is a 26 page all new story in the Hospice universe (more below).  Our story stars exotic dancer Sarrah, who goes by the stage name Lamia. Sarrah is known for her mesmerizing dances that leave patrons in a state of euphoria when she performs.

Where ever Sarrah goes, trouble seems to follow and handsy men tend to get hurt. There's more to our nomadic lead in this story though. Ever since she was young, children have never been safe in her presence and she can never seem to stay in one place for too long. When her latest run-in puts her on the move again, Sarrah settles into a new town with a new problem.

Already funded!

Not only did we fund today, we already made it through stretch goal #1 before I could even post what it was!

Hospice is a shared universe with 6 total titles

This is not the MCU. This is something far different and way darker...

The connected Hospice universe includes individual campaigns from 5 additional creators to this one. They are all standalone stories with the simple common thread of Hospice.

We each put our own spins on our own stories, with our handpicked teams and unique tales. Make sure you visit the other campaigns and back as many as you can!

Hospice will be coming at you in waves! The first four campaigns are live now.

The other creators include Russell Nohelty, Travis Gibb, Frank Martin, Jamie Primack, and Michael Watson

How awesome is that? I really think all of the campaigns have built off those that came before them.

We're in the final hours for the Canceled II campaign.

The campaign ends tonight at 11:59 PM EST. If you were on the fence, now is the time!

CGC Update

According to the CGC submissions page, all books (signed and unsigned) are currently in for Grading/Encapsulation. I've seen this take days and I've seen this take weeks. Obviously hoping for the shorter end here, but will keep everyone updated!

Now that we've wound down from this campaign and get to work on Stake Vol 2, I wanted to let you all know that Canceled II is live now!

Canceled is a horror comic about a clown, Larry, that lives in the airwaves and uses his powers for evil to influence susceptible people to take revenge... This new installment can be read without reading the first issue! In Canceled II Y2k is looming and Somaya works diligently to secure her office’s computer systems from impending doom. As she toils away, her coworkers play evil tricks on her. When a prank gone wrong leaves Somaya mentally devastated, digital clown Larry returns to offer a helping hand.

We have 5 covers to chose from (Alan Quah, Ben Templesmith, Ingrid Gala, Jimbo Salgado, and Jonathan Grimm Art) and all the cool styles you're used to from my campaigns, including the really cool acrylic cover we introduced with The Hive last year and offered in this campaign:

I know this campaign took awhile to fulfill, but we will be fulfilling this one as soon as we receive the funds from Kickstarter and surveys close (barring any unforeseen circumstances).
