Fulfillment 99% complete! What's next?

Hello amazing backers!

I'm glad to report we've sent out almost all of the packages for the campaign...FINALLY!

The only outstanding items are CGC and Acrylic covers (which are both in the process of being routed through the proper channels to get them delivered!)

So what's next?

Well I've sent a script to Francesca for Stake Vol 2 #1 (issue 7 overall)! She's going to start working on it this fall and we hopefully have a campaign for this early next year!

I will be putting together a Stake Presents: Jessamy collected edition to hopefully crowdfund later this year as well.

Next Monday we go live on our latest Kickstarter campaign.

The real question is:

It won’t be my first time, so I’m definitely ready.

Canceled is a horror comic about a clown, Larry, that lives in the airwaves and uses his powers for evil to influence susceptible people to take revenge...

This new installment can be read without reading the first issue! In Canceled II Y2k is looming and Somaya works diligently to secure her office’s computer systems from impending doom. As she toils away, her coworkers play evil tricks on her. When a prank gone wrong leaves Somaya mentally devastated, digital clown Larry returns to offer a helping hand.

That’s right, Cthulhu Invades Wonderland was nominated for a Ringo! This is the 3rd nomination for a project that was I was directly involved in (along with a handful of others that have my name somewhere in them:P).

My friend Trevor just launched his first campaign as a writer and I am lending my skills as an editor and consultant on the project.

This August, Ancient History’s Greatest Question Will Be Answered: What Happened to the Holy Grail?(Spoiler Alert: It Was Aliens!)

The story stars the Grail Hunter, an intergalactic knight on a quest to retrieve the Holy Grail with the help of an eclectic, if not reluctant, crew. There are some great covers, including one by our favorite Stake artist Francesca Fantini!

Long overdue update and Francesca's Artbook!

Hey all,

I know it's been awhile and many of you are still waiting for your rewards.

I assure you, things are moving along, slowly but surely. No excuses, this should be fulfilling faster, but other obligations have unfortunately limited my time to prep packages even with the help of an assistant.

The Archival edition has finally gone to print after a long wait for paper, I think it's a great cap to the 3 issue specialty edition and I will have extras if anyone wants down the line!

I appreciate you all as you have been incredibly patient while I push these books out!

I'm still alive I promise!

I know it's been a slow process and I apologize, it's all on me at this point. Handling the production myself is good in theory, but I failed to factor in the rigors of the rest of my day to day business that doesn't afford me as much time to print and cut the books as needed.

So far I'm not ready to relinquish the printing/cutting to anyone else, so it's all me!

But the good news is, books are beginning to ship this week (the first batch went in the mail today actually!).

I will be plugging away with the help of my trusty assistant Johnny until these are all out.

3 things are not ready to ship, but I will not hold any orders up while we wait, you will just get another package later:

• Archival has been waiting on the special paper.
• CGC (this will be sent off within the next few weeks)
• Acrylic (I'm still waiting on one person to tell me what cover they want - if you're reading this, please reach out!)

I'm so grateful for all of your patience, I know it can be frustrating to wait, but I will get these out as quickly as possible now!

Printing Update

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to give an update on the printing of the book.

Some of you may know that I have acquired my own printing press, most of you do not. I've been getting the process down and making sure I knew what I was doing and now I do.

I am outsourcing the foils, metals, and archivals, but the regular and virgin covers will be printed this week using this:

This was a big investment that will cut down on delivery time for our books going forward.

The end results are pretty amazing:

Those were just proofs, the real show starts this week.

Now that we have plenty of paper on hand we are ready to roll!

We will start prepping and shipping unsigned books this week and I'll be getting Joel and Francesca over to sign as soon as possible.

Thank you again for your patience, can't wait to get these out to you!
